NOTICE OF JOB OPENING

JOB TITLE: POLICE RECRUIT

POSITION SUMMARY:

Police recruit is a non-exempt entry-level law enforcement officer in the Police Department, who

is a probationary employee in the process of obtaining the necessary skills through training and

on-the-job experience to become a Police Officer.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be between ages 21-45 (pension requirement)

High School Diploma or GED

Must have a Valid OK Drivers License.

Must be able to pass Physical Fitness Exam.

Must possess excellent history of personal conduct and behavior.

Salary and Benefits:

Starting salary is \$20.21 an hour base pay. Shift Differential \$70/mo for Evening Shift, \$115/mo

for Hoot Shift.

Up to \$4,464 in incentives a year.

All Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and LTD paid by Employer.

12 Paid Holidays, If working holiday you receive two holidays for one.

Vacation and Sick pay earned monthly starting first month of employment.

Multiple OT opportunities.

Annual Uniform and Boot Allowance.

Call back pay with 2 hour minimum.

On the job training and mentorship by seasoned officers.
