Job Description:
Emerging Requirements Team Specialistwill provide New Site and New System Requirements Team Support to the M26/Intelligence Enterprise Management Office (IEMO). This position may involve travel to new site locations and interaction with various stakeholders to facilitate assessments. Flexibility in work hours may be required to meet project deadlines and operational requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
New Site Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of new site requests
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather site-specific data, conduct feasibility studies, and develop assessment reports
Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and organizational policies during site selection and assessment processes
New System Assessment:
Evaluate new systems, technologies, or capabilities to assess their integration feasibility and impact on existing infrastructure and operations
Collaborate with technical teams to conduct technical assessments, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies
Analyze system performance metrics and operational requirements to determine compatibility and readiness for deployment
Project Management:
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for site and system assessments to ensure timely completion and delivery of assessment reports
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, analysts, and vendors, to facilitate information exchange and decision-making processes
Prepare and present assessment findings, recommendations, and risk assessments to senior management and stakeholders
Mandatory Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance
Proven experience in project management, preferably in a government or defense environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, environmental considerations, and technical standards related to site assessments and system evaluations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software for mapping and spatial analysis
Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and tools
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP)
Education Requirements:
- Associate degree or five years of experience of USMC operations
Physical and Environmental Conditions :
Requires Sitting (66%), Standing (15%), Walking (15%), Near Acuity (100%), Speaking (100%), Listening (100%), Sight (100%), Use of fingers and hands (100%)
Travel 5% CONUS.
