City of McComb Office Manager - Rec Dept in McComb, Mississippi

Performs administrative technical work in assistant recreation department, including accounting, purchasing, inventory, personnel records, depatmental reports, and assisting the Recreation Director in activities of the recreation department.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the follwoing duties.  Additional essential functions may be identified by the city and listed as suc in the imcumbent's performance appraisal elements.  Various tasks may be assigned under each essential function.  Those that are listed under the examples of work are not all inclusinve; they are examples only and may be amended or added to as needed by the City of McComb.

Maintains all financial and accounting records required by recreation director. Provides monthly reports to the recreation Director describing the recreation department's financial status, employee records, and upcoming events or activities. Responsible for the ongoing time and attendance records, time cards, and daily calendars.  Provides telephone information to the general public. Answers phone and maintains an accurate message system. Assist in preparing facility scheduling and reservation applications as needed. Responsible for maintaining necessary supplies for the administrative offices. Assists in preparing facility scheduling and reservation applications as needed. Responsible for the maintenance and updating of training records. Assists in registration and fee collections for the recreation department. Assists in the management of the recreation and park facilities. Responsible for departmental filing system.
