Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Mclean, Virginia, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for the full cycle of accounts payable, including data entry, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate records. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable processes

• Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records

• Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy

• Use SAP and MS Office to effectively manage and monitor customer accounts

• Take appropriate action based on the monitoring of customer accounts

• Handle complex accounts payable inquiries

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Process customer credit applications efficiently

• Utilize accounting functions to ensure smooth operations

• Apply account coding knowledge in daily tasks. Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role

• Proficient in account coding and accounting functions

• Demonstrated experience with accounts payable (AP)

• Knowledge and experience in using SAP

• Strong data entry skills

• Proficient in account reconciliation

• Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
