What You Will Do :

This role in Guidehouse’s Defense & Security Segment headquartered in Northern Virginia will involve overall management of client delivery, quality management, growing client relationships, and leading business development activities within the Homeland Security and Law Enforcement practice and other Defense & Security organizations. The Director will serve as a senior strategic advisor to our clients, and coordinate and collaborate with Guidehouse leaders within the Defense & Security Sector and across the firm to identify and pursue growth opportunities, provide innovative thought leadership, manage quality, and mentor consulting practitioners.

What You Will Need :

• Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or similar field.

• Ten (10) or more years' experience leading diverse teams in a federal law enforcement environment, with at least ten (10) years within the Department of Homeland Security.

• Experience in leading innovative mission-oriented technology and analytics programs.

• Experience leading federal law enforcement efforts to combat cybercrime.

• Experience leading technology programs to support criminal investigative activities.

• Experience leading enterprise-wide data analytics programs and tools.

• Functional knowledge of federal acquisition, people management, and program and project management.

• Strong communication and program management skills, and the ability to operate proactively and independently within dynamic and unstructured environments.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance

• Experience in leading mission-oriented artificial intelligence programs

• Experience leading emergency management programs in a Federal law enforcement agency.
