The Financial CT Targeting Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial data daily. The analyst will conduct research and analysis of information to identify nefarious efforts to circumvent regulations and policies related to financial crimes and similar laws. The analyst will manipulate various classified and open-source databases, and coordinate information with multiple

IC partners. The analyst will operate within a team environment to develop reports and data. The analyst may fuse multiple data sets to identify patterns to fund nefarious activities. The analyst will be responsible for producing intelligence reports related to financial data and networks. The analyst will

support strategic analyses to guide national policy on counterterrorism and encourage collaboration within the CT community by identifying networks and connections. The analyst will use a full range of methodological approaches and analytic tools to identify financial efforts and deliver intelligence to CT

partners.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of all-source intelligence, including SIGINT, and/or HUMINT collection reports.

  • Knowledge of US and international banking systems, and the methods organizations use to circumvent policies and regulations.

  • Ability to research, analyze, and fuse complex data sets and generate leads to advance dynamic objectives.

  • Experience manipulating data (for example, performing Boolean logic searches) to pull out pertinent information.

  • Experience in network analysis, and the tools used to analyze and report findings.

  • Experience developing quantitative metrics and analyzing trends

  • Experience coordinating with multiple IC partners

  • Candidates are required to have experience in or a working knowledge of IC analytical tools, such as Data Xplorer, Palantir, etc.

  • Experience conducting independent analysis with minimal government supervision.

  • Strong attention to detail and knowledge of network analysis methodologies.

  • Familiarity with key US foreign policy and national security Counterterrorism (CT) objectives.

  • BA degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Desired:

  • Previous experience in counter threat finance or financial crime investigations.

  • Experience with writing lead cables.

  • Knowledge of cryptocurrencies

  • Previous experience writing Finished Intelligence products with a focus on counterterrorism.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
