PenFed is hiring a (Hybrid) Analyst, Treasury Operations at our Tysons, Virginia location. The primary purpose of this job is to perform daily cash and bank account management duties, support other Finance units and business line functions by providing transaction data, statement and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate daily cash management transfers within the established deadlines in order to fund operational cash needs.

  • Provide transactional data, pricing, statements and reports to Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting and Data teams to facilitate planning/forecasting and financial reporting.

  • Maintain required investment purchase/sale and borrowing documentation.

  • Assist in performing mid-office operation for investment and derivatives trading, such as maintaining trade blotters, facilitating settlement at safekeeping banks,keeping trade confirmations/due diligence records and managing daily collateral requirements to cover derivatives exposure.

  • Maintain derivatives documentation and daily collateral balances to ensure organizational compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policy guidelines.

  • Enter system updates for deposit rate changes and create verification package for approval and retention.

  • Act as system administrative support to maintain all banking relationships to ensure access to services and funding.

  • Support the Treasury functionin providing data and reports for internal and external audits/examinations.

  • Apply subject matter knowledge of Treasury Operations and support the team to achieve departmental and individual goals.

This role is responsible for ensuring business continuity.

Qualifications

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, economics, finance, statistics or related field required.

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ of experience in a financial services organization is required.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.

Travel

Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call may be required.
