Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Software Engineer. This is a fully remote, employee position. the Candidate MUST live in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Experience leading projects and working closely with the business users.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java, REST, SQL, and PL/SQL

• Collaborate with business users to comprehend their needs and translate them into efficient technical solutions

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, ensuring the application of best practices

• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes

• Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely resolution and minimizing system downtime

• Make recommendations for technology adoption and process improvements, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations

• Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and support as needed

• This role involves lots of variety in the work and the languages that will be used. It isn’t going to be the same thing over and over, but they will have the opportunity to explore different business processes and have the freedom to make decisions with the variety of tools available to them.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Enterprise software development experience at a senior level

• Expert knowledge of Java

• Hands-on experience in designing and developing web services in Java using API Protocols and Data Formats (REST, JSON, SOAP & XML).

• Proven experience developing highly efficient RDBMS SQL (e.g. Oracle, MySQL)

Nice to have:

• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or similar)
