Job Title: Electronics Technician
Job Description
Responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electronic equipment; developing prototypes and breadboard circuits; designing and retrofitting existing equipment; researching and performing routine maintenance on electronic equipment utilizing test sets.
Hard Skills
Troubleshoot and run general diagnostics on electronic equipment
Design and build control systems for production and facility equipment
Perform routine maintenance utilizing test sets such as ultrasound, infrared, megger, oscilloscopes, VDM, and ammeter
Adjust, calibrate, and repair pressure transducers, probes, and sensors
Operate basic power tools for equipment fabrication
Perform electrical, mechanical, and optical assembly and repair operations
Install and evaluate new equipment and components
Request and manage parts for repair processes
Develop prototypes and breadboard circuits
Write technical reports and develop charts, graphs, and schematics
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP
Working knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics
Ability to read electronic wiring diagrams and schematics
Use of hand tools for troubleshooting and repair
Soft Skills
