Position Summary

Since 1969, our factory has been a cornerstone just eight miles west of Harrisburg. Situated at a transportation crossroads, it offers quick access to major cities like Baltimore, Boston, and New York. As one of the largest manufacturers in the area, we produce a wide range of dry pet food, including beloved brands like Puppy Chow®, Pro Plan®, and Friskies®. As an Information Technology Technician, you will maintain reliability and functionality of in-house computer hardware and software systems. You will be responsible for the coordination of deployment, installation, upgrade, and de-installation of desktop hardware and software.

• Install, configure, performance tune, administer and troubleshoot all in-house computer related hardware and software.

• Comply with company data backup, disaster recovery, software licensing, security and authorization policies.

• Maintain audit record of Plant hardware/software and software licensing.

• Develop, document and maintain necessary in-house information and non-plant floor data collection systems.

• Respond to user’s requests for new and enhanced information technology using sound business judgment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years related information systems/information technology experience.

OR

• A 2-year technical degree

The approximate pay range for this position is $48,000 to $69,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
