We are seeking a detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join our team. This role involves precision soldering and assembling components that meet the high standards required in the military defense industry. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and quality control teams to ensure products meet stringent industry requirements.

• Certification in IPC-610, IPC-620, or J-STD-001 (preferred based on employer).

• 2+ years of experience in precision soldering, preferably in electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform soldering and assembly of electronic components and wiring for aerospace applications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and technical drawings.

• Inspect solder joints for quality and ensure compliance with IPC-610 or J-STD-001 standards.

• Work with materials such as lead and lead-free solder.

• Conduct rework and repair of assemblies to address defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Utilize hand tools, microscopes, and measurement equipment for precise assembly and inspection.
