Tecolote Research, Inc. Earned Value Analyst (EVM) in Melbourne, Florida

Skills Required

  • A minimum eight (8) years of EVM experience to include a minimum of five (5) years working in a space program environment. Familiarity with systems engineering principles and practices, experience with large-scale development and test programs, risk analysis, and cost estimating is a plus

  • Launch and Range acquisition and execution experience is highly desirable

  • Familiarity with SSCI 63-107, Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG), GAO Scheduling Assessment Guide, GAO Cost Estimating and Assessment Guide, NDIA Guide to Managing Program using Predictive Measures, Integrated Program Management Data Analysis Report (IPMDAR), and ANSl/EIA Standard 748

  • Applicants must demonstrate analytical and presentation skills; EVM systems software tools skills, such as wInsight, and possess extensive knowledge of EVM industry standards and practices

  • Applicants must have experience leading and supporting Compliance Analysis, Performance Analysis, Predictability Analysis, Integrated Baseline Reviews, and EVM specific training

  • Bachelor's degree in math, business/economics, finance, accounting, engineering, or statistics is required

  • Prior work at SSC is highly desirable

  • U.S. citizenship required

  • Minimum Secret security clearance required

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.

Overview We are seeking a professional with analytical and communication skills to provide Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis support to the Assured Access to Space Chief Financial Officer and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Tecolote Research, Inc. is hiring candidates to perform in a wide variety of Earned Value Management positions:

    • Work closely with Government Program Office teams and contractors to assess EVM information for compliance and performance to program baselines

    • Analyze cost, schedule, and risk including Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB), variance, trend, EVM and schedule health metrics

    • Assist the government customers in the analysis of Over Target Baseline, Over Target Schedule, Major Contract Baseline Modifications

    • Participate and lead in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) activities

    • Prepare briefings, management plans, and technical reports for the customer
