Global Manufacturing Training Initiative - Systems and Content Development Lead
Pay Rate :
$122,000 - $163,000
Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:
Actively coach/develop Mill Learning Leaders through regular touch base calls
Develop and update training material:
Manage third party eCourse content relationships
Assist sharing of content between mills and between departments
Create and maintain the various common GMTI learning activities and curriculums in MyLearning
Create training materials (eCourses, reference documents, learning activities, instructor lead presentations, etc.) as needed
Evaluate and recommend purchased training content/providers
Identify and work with graphics developers to create high quality, interactive, course content
QA eCourse storyboard and online content prior to deployment/ assignment (third party and in-house)
Ensure training materials for common curriculums are kept current (NHI, FLL, Maintenance, IP Business, etc.)
Do on-site support visits for mill training resources as needed
Up to 50% travel on an annual basis
Maintain/update GMTI Program Element documents
Support development of GMTI related metrics and reporting
Develop and implement strategy for DMS (Document Management System) setup
Support coordination/facilitation of remote and in-person Learning Leader meetings
Act as the subject matter expert for LMS/LCMS (use and troubleshooting) and training content development tools and templates
Ensure Alignment and Sharing with other IP groups (i.e. ELS, L&D Network, EHS, IP LEAD, IT)
Troubleshoot situations with GMTI related content and computer applications
Update GMS PEOP-06 files on the GMS site/page as needed
Will work with state, federal and local governments to identify grant and funding opportunities
Work with local school systems to help develop school to work programs for advanced development of prospective new hires
Will work with Manufacturing Training team members to achieve a leading edge learning program for mill manufacturing operators and mechanics to provide a competitive edge for IP while allowing improved performance by our mill employees through effective and efficient transfer of knowledge and advancement of skills to perform their career tasks
The Skills You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Understands and complies with Company HR and EHS policies / procedures / practices
High proficiency in technical and computer skills
Proficient in LMS and LCMS systems (MyLearning/DomiKnow)
Proficient in SharePoint (or other DMS system)
Proficient in MS Office applications
Proficient in developing training content and programs/curriculums
Understands meeting facilitation principles
Understands adult learning theory and techniques
Understands best practices, standards and tools for creating and delivering effective training
Understands process and best practices for developing assessment criteria (testing, evaluations, etc.)
Understands the training needs analysis process
Familiar with GMTI standards
Proficient with pulp and paper mill manufacturing processes and structure
