Description

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Help Desk Technician to join our client's IT team. As a Help Desk Technician, you will provide first-line technical support to our users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues. You will be responsible for resolving user problems efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including PC setups, network connectivity, and application problems.

• Diagnose and resolve common IT problems.

• Log and track IT incidents and service requests.

• Prioritize and escalate issues as needed.

• Document solutions and knowledge base articles.

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.

• Perform software installations and updates.

• Manage user accounts and permissions.

• Maintain accurate inventory records of hardware and software assets.

• Assist with hardware and software procurement and deployment.

  Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1+ years of experience in help desk or technical support.

• Strong understanding of computer hardware and software.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A+ certification preferred.
