Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Responsible for general facility and equipment maintenance in a highly-automated food manufacturing environment. Ensure continuous, safe, effective, and efficient performance of industrial equipment based on manufacturer's instructions to meet daily operating plans in compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations. Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repair maintenance to meet operational requirements. Complete work orders, PMs, and handle reactive maintenance. Other duties as assigned by management.

Hard Skills

• Knowledge of controls and packaging equipment

• Experience with conveyors, motors, wrappers, gluers, cookers

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Memphis, Tennessee.

Work Environment

The work environment varies with some areas being wet and others having rice scattered. The temperature can be very hot in cooking areas, while packaging areas are temperature controlled and much cooler. The shift is 4p-4a on a 223 schedule, with a possibility of 4a-4p shifts but no guarantee due to union regulations. Hiring bonuses are being considered.
