Job Title: Quality Control Coordinator

Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that the quality standards for raw and packs, the manufacturing process, finished foods, and holds management are maintained on their respective shift by sampling, monitoring, and auditing each of these areas. Responsibilities include in-plant sampling, testing, and auditing, collecting samples for materials analysis, evaluating holds, monitoring quality and food safety control points, making corrective actions to the process if needed, editing and updating check sheets and SOPs, monitoring, responding to, and escalating quality issues, entering material and finished product holds into QA Notify emails, and designing and delivering training in all areas of quality to shift associates.

Work Environment

Initially, training occurs on the 1st shift for approximately 6 weeks. The current schedule is Monday - Friday from 2pm-10pm, with a potential transitionto a 2-2-3 schedule from 6pm-6am. Flexibility with shift changes is required. The role involves working 12-hour rotating shifts. Holidays observed include New Year's Day, MLK Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Day after, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and one floating holiday. However, depending on business demands, working on holidays may be necessary.
