What You Will Do...

• Prepare monthly accruals and other journals entries required for monthly financial reporting.

• Prepare account reconciliations for Inventory, Tax, and Insurance.

• Provide support for federal and franchise tax compliance to the regional Tax Department.

• Review and issue an opinion on applying sales tax to purchases.

• Determine the proper tax depreciation for capital additions.

• Responsible for Property Tax, PILOT program, Superfund Tax, and Insurance reporting and compliance.

• Maintain relationships with outside tax vendors.

• Create monthly Inventory reports.

• Review movement of inventory costs during the month and update standard costs monthly.

• Maintain working relationship with insurance brokers.

• Ensure insurance policies are put in place timely so there is no lapse in coverages.

• Coordinate local tax audit activities and support MCA tax audit activities.

What You Will Have...

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounting/Tax

• S. degree in Accounting or related field, CPA preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SAP or comparable ERP system is required.

• Ability to maintain concentration with frequent interruptions.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Strong initiative, problem solving and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.

• Manufacturing experience a plus

• The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $116,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
