Insight Global Senior Power BI Developer in Memphis, Tennessee

Job Description

Position Overview: The Engineer, Business Intelligence will lead BI development from design to delivery across multiple products and teams, addressing the company's operational and financial challenges. Responsibilities include architecting, designing, configuring, developing, testing, and deploying complex BI and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

 Collaborate with consulting and IT leadership to develop software solutions.

 Create and maintain documentation and clear code.

 Design, test, and install solutions based on system specifications.

 Conduct systems analysis and recommend improvements.

 Stay updated with the latest development tools and techniques.

 Maintain confidentiality of information.

 Analyze and summarize development and service issues.

 Complete related tasks to achieve engineering and organizational goals.

 Follow the software development lifecycle to develop solutions.

 Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, or 6+ years of related experience.

 5+ years in business intelligence and release planning.

 Proven leadership in design and development across data intelligence products and teams.

 Strong experience in Power BI analytics, data visualization, and integration.

 Proficient in writing and tuning queries in DAX and SQL.

 Knowledgeable in DAX, Power Query (M), and Power BI service.

 Experience with Power BI Embedded and Azure Analysis Services (required).

 Familiar with Microsoft Fabric features like alerting, goal setting, and CoPilot.

 Knowledge of paginated reports (Power BI Report Builder).

 Experience with semantic model management via XMLA endpoints.

 Familiar with Power Automate and Power BI APIs.

 Experience in creating and managing gateways.

 Knowledge of data table design, stored procedures, triggers, maintenance, optimization, and indexing. Experience in health care, pharmaceuticals, or managed care is a plus. null
