Our client, a prominent private equity firm located in Menlo Park, specializes in high-growth technology and related industries. As an SEC-registered investment adviser managing billions in assets, they provide the capital and expertise needed to elevate companies to the global stage.

They are looking for a Director of Finance to join their Finance team. Reporting to the CFO and Director, you will ensure excellence in daily accounting and reporting operations. This HYBRID position offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee capital calls and distributions for private equity funds.

• Manage accounting and operations systems.

• Collaborate with deal teams and external advisors on fund administration.

• Lead the financial close process for investment vehicles.

• Assist with credit line management, technical accounting, and investor inquiries.

• Support external fund audits, tax compliance, and other related tasks.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA is a plus.

• Over 10 years of accounting experience, specializing in private equity or venture capital.

• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and exceptional problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills.

• Experience in database management with a willingness to adapt to new technologies.

• Familiarity with fund accounting software such as QuickBooks, FloQast, or Allvue is preferred.
