Typical hours are 5am-1:30pm. Here\'s your opportunity: You will be responsible forrepairing, maintaining and modifying molds as needed. You will assist in the construction of tooling including preparation of the pattern, application of tooling gelcoat and laminate, and construction of the mold structure while adhering to safety and quality standards. Here\'s how you\'ll contribute: Self-directed in all mold modifications Designs and construct basic and complex patterns Proficient in all laminating and mold making techniques Assists in mold design and blueprints Knowledgeable in gelcoats and application Advanced knowledge of resin chemistry / formulae Trains department employees Proficient at required equipment setups Ensures production schedules are met within cell Computer proficient in applicable programs Sustains production goals Proficient use of department equipment and measuring tools Meets quality expectations Ability to read and access blueprints Identifies mold damage and repair parameters Completes proper documentation of work performed Self-directed in all mold preventative maintenance (PM) & repair Knowledgeable in mold release application Here\'s why we want you: High School diploma or GED required Courses in Industrial Arts preferred Four (4) years of general shop experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced skill and knowledge of mold making practices and techniques.
