What you´ll do

  • The Production Supervisor shall bear final responsibility for the following areas:

  • Compliance with Henkel’s Vision and Values.

  • Support of the AO Manufacturing Department Vision.

  • Fair and consistent administration of Henkel’s policies and procedures.

  • Support and integration of site SHE programs.

  • Supervision of the on-shift workforce.

  • Execution of the production schedule to meet plan.

  • Optimization of the workforce.

  • Quality of product produced.

  • Employee and Temporary training and development.

  • Time and attendance administration for on-shift production personnel.

  • Safety, Quality, Productivity and People development results.

  • Full understanding of the CI program and related tools.

  • Support and full integration of the CI program in areas of responsibility.

  • Duties: The essential duties of the Production Supervisor are:

  • Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are followed. This includes accident reporting, investigation, primary cause analysis, corrective action, implementation, and follow up.

  • Continually empower Employees and Temporaries to deliver a safe and clean workplace.

  • Monitor manufacturing performance in real time and post mortem. Adjust production in a timely manner to improve performance.

  • Communicate daily with Supply Chain to maximize Henkel’s ability to service the customer while optimizing labor efficiency. This includes managing work levels, staffing and minimize overtime.

  • Communicate throughout the shift with Hourly Employees and Temporaries to ensure a constant exchange of ideas, concerns, and information.

  • Repeatedly and effectively communicate Henkel’s culture, policies and procedures, and CI plans to Employees and Temporaries.

  • Independently and successfully drive the CI program to full depth of integration in areas of responsibility.

  • Lead, inspire and empower Employees and Temporaries to transform the organization to Lean through constant waste elimination and pursuit of perfection.

  • Formally communicate status of CI programs to management as required.

  • Execute thorough, fair, and honest performance evaluations and personnel improvement plans.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of three years experience in a manufacturing supervisory role.

  • Outstanding organizational skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to collaborate and build relationships in a team setting.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.

  • Able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

  • Demonstrates leadership, problem solving and conflict management skills (horizontal and vertical).

  • Demonstrates a professional team-player attitude toward work and co-workers.

  • Excellent problem solving skills.

  • Must be able to embrace/drive change.

  • Computer literate including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

The salary for this role is $75,000.00- $80,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
