We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with heavy Indirect Tax experience to join a global manufacturing company locate din Mentor, OH. This is a hybrid role of in-office and remote work! This person will be responsible for leading state and local sales/use tax audits. Responsibilities: * Lead state and local sales/use tax audits with external advisors, ensuring efficient audit cycles. * Manage information requests and monitor tax audit/appeal statuses. * Identify and quantify tax liabilities and opportunities for tax assessment reductions during audits; streamline issue remediation processes. * Collaborate with consultants on technical and compliance matters related to sales/use tax audits and appeals. * Integrate audit results into business operations and tax return processes to comply with tax laws. * Record audit reserves per ASC 450 / FAS 5 guidelines and process settlement payments. * Oversee tax compliance integration for acquisitions. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field. * Experience with OneSource Indirect Tax products preferred. * 5+ years of corporate tax experience, including indirect taxes. * Strong Excel skills.
