Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Merced, California

Description We are in search of a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Merced, California. This role involves overseeing all HR functions, ensuring smooth operations within the HR department, and providing support to both Field and Business Operations teams. As a HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and updating company HR policies, employee handbook, and related business procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the HR department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations

• Act as the primary contact for employees, fostering positive relationships and promptly addressing queries and concerns

• Support the Field and Business Operations teams by providing necessary tools and support for successful work performance

• Develop and update company HR policies, employee handbook, and related business procedures to align with current labor laws

• Oversee HR specialists and manage recruitment campaigns, applications, and applicant status tracking

• Ensure smooth onboarding process for new hires, including the creation of new-employee and orientation binders and packets

• Maintain accurate records of employee information and ensure the smooth transition of new hires through the onboarding process

• Facilitate and support benefits enrollment activities and the development of annual benefits reports for agencies

• Monitor employee daily work check-ins and scheduled time-offs to develop and submit daily and/or weekly employee trackers to clients

• Understand all company policies to answer employee questions, recommend actions, and provide employee training on company policies and procedures. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode and Ceridian platforms

• Experience with HCM and Benefit Functions

• Strong communication skills for effective team coordination and external representation

• Knowledge of compliance standards in HR practices

• Experience in managing employee relations

• Proficiency in hiring processes including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
