TEKsystems Customer Service Representative in Meridian, Idaho

As a Medical Devices Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their medical supply needs.

 Your responsibilities will include:

  • Expected to take approximately 5-8 calls per hour.

  • Respond to customer inquiries with confidence and professionalism.

  • Verify the identity of callers and confirm their contact information.

  • Ensure accurate data entry during interactions.

  • Engage with customers to understand their medical supply requirements.

  • Confirm the specific items needed and any special instructions.

  • Verify insurance coverage and determine what medical supplies are covered.

  • Confirm that the insurance will pay for the requested items.

  • Check if applicable prescriptions are current and valid.

  • Ensure compliance with medical guidelines.

  • Reiterate the order details with the customer.

  • Confirm the accuracy of the order before proceeding.

  • Locate the requested medical supplies from inventory.

  • If additional processing or specialized handling is required, transfer customer information to the relevant internal department.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated stability and good tenure in previous roles.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role.

  • Telephone customer service experience is a plus.
