The Enterprise Applications Manager (ERP/PDI) is responsible for the overall ERP system software environment. This includes planning for and executing upgrades, system configuration, managing enhancements and break/fix issues. You provide leadership and management of Jacksons Company ERP System and PDI (Professional Data Solutions) and its hosted environment.

What will I do as the Enterprise Applications Manager (ERP/PDI)?

  • Manage a team of individuals who support the environment, develop integrations, and ensure data integrity within the ERP system.

  • Coordinate with all ERP stakeholders, including functional, technical owners, and ERP provider.

  • Act as subject matter expert on matters of system changes, enhancements, and maintenance updates.

  • Perform evaluations on a regular basis, ensuring that new releases in software technology are

properly upgraded for all facets of the system.

  • Manage ERP vendor relationships and performance levels closely, escalate issues with vendor and track them accordingly.

  • Troubleshoot system issues and resolve hardware or software problems as they arise.

  • Ensure proper alerts are in place for the environment and ensure support levels are defined and met.

  • Define on-call services and ensure 3rd party support is meeting defined SLA's.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.

  • 7+ years of ERP specific or ideally PDI specific experience.

  • 7+ years’ experience managing enterprise class systems.

  • 5+ years’ experience providing leadership, coaching and or mentoring to subordinate groups.

  • Strong experience in scripting, SQL Server, SSMS, SSRS and PowerShell along with overall base technical skills and strong working knowledge of data formats (XML, CSV...)

  • A history of identifying the root cause of issues and using problem-solving methods to arrive at the ideal resolution.

  • A history of leveraging others appropriately and overcoming unexpected obstacles while utilizing appropriate metrics to measure progress.

  • A track record of exercising strong critical thinking with the ability to anticipate issues before they arise, while proactively suggesting big-picture solutions.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.
