Salary: Depends on Experience (DOE), starting at $110,000 to DOE

Location: Meridian, Idaho.
Primary Duties: The successful applicant will be assigned to lead the in-house legal team located at the Idaho State Police headquarters. Duties of this position include supervision of attorneys and support staff, providing legal representation of the ISP Director’s Office, the state forensics laboratory, the Bureau of Criminal Identification, Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) Council, as well as advising the patrol and investigations divisions in six district offices across the state.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be licensed to practice law in Idaho. Frequent travel throughout the state is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in employment law, contracts, or criminal prosecution is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have experience advising one or more government entities and supervising other attorneys.
