As the primary source of truth for the group’s social content creation and curation activities, the Social Media Content Creator will be driving driving impactful awareness, preference, and engagement through innovative brand activation initiatives!

The ideal candidate will be collaborative, with an outgoing personality, and comfortable being on camera when needed, armed with the creative abilities to lead social content creation, design direction, and video execution while actively posting and supervising social platforms. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening our brand identity and growing our market presence throughout social media platforms, while working closely with our graphic designers, visual media team, digital marketing team, and the brand activation manager!

Content Planning and Execution

  • Implement and collaborate on the comprehensive content strategy aligned with Crucial's mission, values, and user needs, with a focus on driving engagement, retention, and growth.

  • Identify and prioritize content opportunities based on user research, market trends, and platform analytics, and build data-driven content plans and calendars

  • Measure the efficiency of our content performance for continuous optimization

Content Creation and Curation

  • Own the creation of high-quality, engaging content across various formats, including short form videos, graphics, imagery, etc.

  • Collaborate with subject matter authorities, leaders with vision, and community members to source and curate relevant, valuable content that meets our users' needs and interests

  • Ensure that all content aligns with our brand voice, style guide, and content guidelines, and maintains the highest standards of accuracy, authenticity, and editorial quality

  • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging framework across all content channels, ensuring that our communications are aligned.

Content Distribution and Promotion

  • Work with cross functional teams to implement content distribution and promotion strategies to improve the reach and impact of our content across various channels, including, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, X, and YouTube

  • Optimize content for social media and other platforms to drive organic traffic and improve our content's transparency and discoverability.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to build and implement campaigns and initiatives that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.

  • Assist in Sample needs for give aways on social through influencer/ambassador activities when needed.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in content creation and content management, driving user engagement and community growth through compelling, data-driven content

  • Deep understanding of content standard methodologies, trends, and frameworks, with experience in developing and completing content strategies for sophisticated, data-driven platforms

  • Strong writing and editing skills, ability to build engaging, persuasive content and styles, from technical tutorials to thought leadership pieces.

  • Experience with content management systems, editorial workflows, and SEO standard processes, optimizing content for discovery, engagement, and conversion.

  • Knowledge and use of video and social creation tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva

  • Strong technical or manufacturing background a plus

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within specified deadlines.

  • Expert in social media platforms, digital marketing trends, and content creation strategies for effective brand promotion.
