Senior-level role in manufacturing support, specifically for the C-130J program at Lockheed Martin in Meridian, Mississippi. The Manufacturing Support Team Member Senior will work in a team-based environment and be responsible for various cross-functional tasks that contribute to production and business processes.

What You Will Be Doing

• Team-based Production Support: Aid in the smooth operation of production, business processes, and other functions within the manufacturing environment.

• Cross-functional Activities: Engage in areas such as production planning, quality management, manufacturing systems, equipment engineering, and process reengineering to drive efficiency and innovation.

• Facilitating Teams: Potentially lead self-directed work teams, encouraging collaboration and effective teamwork.

• Training and Development: Provide core skills training to peers and team members, supporting their growth and ensuring high standards are met.

• Customer Interaction: Collaborate with both internal and external customers, focusing on product planning, problem-solving, and process improvements.

• Manufacturing Expertise: Utilize experience in one or more areas of manufacturing operations to guide processes and drive results.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experienced in Manufacturing/Production Operations.

• Experienced leading projects.

• Experienced meeting critical schedules, resolving complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues.

• Experience interacting with internal and external customers.

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) efficient.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelors Degree from an accredited college.

• Masters Degree from an accredited college.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles and Root Cause Corrective Action.

• C130 Production experience.

• Production Supervisory experience.

• Project Management experience.

• Strong communication and problem solving skills.

• Knowledge of formal problem solving methodologies and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

• Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
