About the Role
Responsible for planning and controlling of a all vehicle orders produced at the plant, from program coordination with the OEM to on-time vehicle handover to the OEM.
Guarantees an optimized production process via program planning, order planning, order scheduling and order control and provides the required data based on vehicle orders.
Supports a stable production process by permanently optimizing vehicle planning, thereby ensuring correct material requirement forecasts to suppliers as well as stable schedules for production in the individual technology areas.
Your Responsibilities
Program Planning
Ensuring a buildable production program by harmonizing OEM production program requests with plant capacities
Based on the aligned production program ensuring regular transmission of a correlating order volume as well as updated forecast data by the OEM
Definition of the production volume and the production days per month
Control of the MS production program as well as the MS production calendar planning for US site
Order Segmentation
Continuous supply of the plant with buildable vehicle orders and fixation of the planned assembly sequence within the scope of daily package formation
Ensuring compliance with all known constraints, limitations, restrictions from suppliers as well as from production technologies
Harmonization of production worker utilization by optimizing the planned production sequence
Order Scheduling
Planning of the daily production volume per technology area to ensure the OEM production program requests
Mapping of the actual production layouts as well as the daily production unit count targets per technology area in the ERP system
Permanent optimization of vehicle planning in the ERP system to ensure correct order scheduling in all production technologies of the plant as well as correct material requirement forecasts to the suppliers
Order Control
Cross-technology, shift accompanying control of vehicle production in the plant incl. blocking / prioritization of vehicle orders as well as provision of all required data (evaluations) on the basis of the vehicle orders
Ensuring sequence stability at the time of the start assembly
Monitoring of on-time delivery to the OEM at the time of vehicle handover
Who we are looking for
Apprenticeship diploma or similar skilled trade with commercial focus
Several years of experience in SCM (in the automotive industry)
Basic knowledge of logistics processes and SQL programming (database analyses)
Basic knowledge of SAP
Ramp-up Management
Customer system/process knowledge
Emergency process handling
Your preferred qualifications
Deployment control and change management (parts); order control and scheduling
Basic knowledge of Purchasing
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
Data Warehouse User Knowledge
