Work Tasks to be performed

·         Crops: Corn, Alfalfa, Hay, Straw, Silage.

·         Operate heavy equipment, including but not limited to tractor, grader, track hoe, backhoe, loader or skid ster.

·         Inspect, maintain and operate agricultural equipment in a safe and proper way in order to avoid accident.

·         Perform mechanical duties.

·          Move and install irrigation pipes and equipment.

·         Apply pesticides, herbicides, and other crop protectants.

·         Bending, topping and kneeling required.

·         Work is to be done for long periods of time in the field, when plant plants may be wet with des and rain, and may be required during light rain, snow, moderate winds, direct sun.

Tareas Específicas en el Trabajo

·          Cultivos: Maíz, Alfalfa, Heno, Paja, Ensilaje.

·         Operar equipos pesados, incluidos, entre otros, tractores, niveladoras, azadas, retroexcavadoras, cargadores o miniexcavadoras.

·         Inspeccionar, mantener y operar equipos agrícolas de manera segura y adecuada para evitar accidentes.

·         Realizar tareas mecánicas.

·         Mover e instalar tuberías y equipos de riego.

·         Aplicar pesticidas, herbicidas y otros protectores de cultivos.

·         Es necesario agacharse, agacharse y arrodillarse.

·         El trabajo debe realizarse durante largos períodos de tiempo en el campo, cuando las plantas pueden estar mojadas por el polvo y la lluvia, y puede ser necesario durante lluvias ligeras, nieve, vientos moderados y sol directo.

Job Requirements

·         3 months experience general machine operation (tractors).

·         Lifting requirement 50 lbs.

·         Driver requirements.

·         Criminal background check and drug screen required.

·         Exposure to extreme temperatures.

·         Extensive pushing or pulling.

·         Extensive sitting or walking.

·         Frequent stooping, bending over, and repetitive movements.

·         Workers must be able to preform the required work with or without reasonable accommodations.
