Production Lead – 3rd Shift

As a Production Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. This will also include producing various food ingredients, learning good manufacturing practices, and how to follow standardized formulas for weighing, measuring, and mixing raw materials. Our third shift operating hours are Sunday – Thursday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising production workers: The production lead is responsible for managing a team of production workers, assigning tasks, and ensuring that they are completed on time.

• Managing production schedules: The production lead is responsible for creating and managing production schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met, and adjusting schedules as needed.

• Monitoring production processes: The production lead monitors production processes to ensure that they are running smoothly, identify any issues that arise, and take corrective action as needed.

• Maintaining equipment: The production lead is responsible for ensuring that all production equipment is well-maintained, conducting routine maintenance checks, and scheduling repairs as needed.

• Reporting on production progress: The production lead is responsible for reporting on production progress to management, highlighting areas of success and areas for improvement.

• Ensuring safety: The production lead is responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols are followed, identifying and addressing safety hazards, and implementing safety measures as needed.

  You bring:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Must be 18 years old to work in a plant job.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs. as needed throughout the shift.

• Basic computer skills

• At least one year of production or food service experience preferred.

• Due to the nature, the position requires the ability to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) including a hard hat, eye protection, and in some cases other area-specific PPE needs (e.g. ear protection, respirator)
