As a Quality Manger, you be responsible for end-to-end Quality related aspects in First Choice Ingredients manufacturing facilities, comprising of two locations: Germantown and Menomonee Falls, which produce liquid and powder flavors utilizing different technologies. These plants are part of dsm-firmenich TTH (Taste, Texture & Health) Business Unit that produces ingredients for the food and beverage industries.

Your key responsibilities:

• As the Quality Lead for the Site, the Quality Manager will drive programs, process, resources and site specific goals/priorities in line with Global and Regional strategy, to meet business and customers’ requirements.

• Lead a team of Quality professionals, provide coaching and develop the technical skills as well as the leadership competencies of the team.

• Promote and maintain Quality culture at the site.

• Leading support for all audits from Regulatory agencies, customers and internal conducted audits.

• Drive continuous quality improvement of the management system, ensuring a robust and the effective quality system is in place. Integrate the global requirements into FCI quality system.

• Implementation, monitoring, trend analyzing, and report of Quality KPIs.

• Champion site Sanitation and GMPs through site developed initiatives and trainings.

Work together with manufacturing on customer complaints and site incidents. Develop RCA and CAPA for non-conformities. Be the technical contact for customers’ non-conformities for products produced at the site.

Lead and monitor key quality projects, prioritizing according to risk assessment.

Maintain and upgrade local Certifications (e.g. Halal, Kosher, FSSC).

You bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Microbiology/Food Science or related scientific field.

• 5+ years of experience in a quality assurance.

• Extensive background in food, pharma, cosmetic or health care industry.

• 2+ years leadership skills preferred.
