Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Miami, Florida

Description

We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role necessitates a profound understanding of accounting functions, including accounts receivable, auditing, and payroll (can be trained) processing. You will be tasked with overseeing our financial reporting, managing cash flow, and ensuring all accounting processes align with our industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the execution of month-end balance sheet and trial balance procedures.

• Prepare and present financial reports on a regular basis.

• Efficiently manage and monitor cash flow and accounts receivable.

• Facilitate audit processes and procedures, ensuring all records are accurate and complete.

• Provide payroll support for processing both exempt and non-exempt employees.

• Utilize Sage Intacct software for various accounting functions.

• Prepare monthly financial statements to track the company's financial health.

• Manage aging accounts to ensure timely payments.

• Apply knowledge of public and private accounting practices to improve our financial operations.

• Perform other accounting-related tasks as needed.

This position will not be Supervising anyone to start but can grow into a Supervisory role in the near future.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is necessary for managing the company's financial operations.

• Possessing skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage incoming payments and ensure financial stability.

• Auditing skills are needed to inspect the organization's financial operations and ensure their legality and efficiency.

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct for managing accounting operations and financial reporting.

• Experience in Payroll management to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time.

• Capacity to prepare Monthly Financial Statements to keep track of the company's financial status.

• Skills in Cash Flow Management to monitor, analyze, and optimize the company's financial resources.

• Knowledge of Aging Accounts to manage overdue payments and maintain financial stability.

• Experience in Public Accounting to handle the accounting needs of a diverse range of clients.

• Familiarity with Private Accounting to manage internal financial matters and improve the company's profitability.
