Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Miami, Florida. The role involves managing financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The successful candidate will work with our team to assist the controller, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure our financial data is up-to-date and accurate.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the controller in managing all financial transactions.

• Handle all accounts payable and receivable duties.

• Perform account reconciliations and manage bank reconciliations.

• Maintain accurate financial records using bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, and databases.

• Prepare payroll and manage data entry tasks.

• Ensure month-end close procedures are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.

• Use Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze data as necessary.

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting and bookkeeping tasks.

• Respond to relevant inquiries or issues from customers concerning billing and invoicing.

• Follow all company procedures and internal controls related to financial reporting.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to conduct Bank Reconciliations

• Expertise in Bookkeeping

• Proficiency in Data Entry

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of Payroll procedures

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
