Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will be engaged in tasks related to the processing of customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries. It is a position that requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the Collections industry.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and resolving customer disputes and escalations in a professional manner

• Regularly reviewing and acting upon aging reports to ensure timely payment of dues

• Implementing effective collection processes to minimize delinquency

• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintaining accurate records of all customer credit transactions

• Utilizing strong 'Accounts Receivable (AR)' skills to ensure smooth financial operations

• Regularly reviewing delinquency reports to identify any potential issues

• Employing strong knowledge of 'Collection Processes' to enhance departmental efficiency

• Ensuring all collection activities are carried out legally and ethically

• Assisting customers in navigating payment processes to ensure they get paid promptly. Requirements • Proven experience in a Collections Specialist role or similar position

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Deep understanding of collection processes and practices

• Familiarity with relevant legal requirements

• Working knowledge of MS Office and databases

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts

• Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information

• High school degree, with further education or certification in Finance or relevant field being a plus.
