Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Description

  • Seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support the City of Miami’s Office of Capital Improvements (OCI) Capital Planning Management Team. This role involves prioritizing, monitoring, and managing the City of Miami’s Capital Construction Improvement Program to enhance neighborhoods and build a resilient future. Responsibilities include facilitating communication among team members and stakeholders, assisting in document handling, scheduling, data collection from multiple platforms, and report publishing to support the OCI Management Team’s objectives. We work directly with several stakeholders, including but not limited to Client Departments and Federal/State/County Agencies, to better serve Miami’s citizens with streets and right of ways, parks and recreation facilities, public safety facilities, cultural and water-access facilities, sea-level rise and flood prevention infrastructure, and general public service facilities.

  • This Administrative Professional will play a key role by facilitating communication between the CPM Team, the OCI Program Manager, OCI External Coordinator, and stakeholders, assisting with document routing and configuration control, scheduling and assisting in the coordination of legislative review meetings and preparation for City Commission Agenda Meetings, collecting data from eBuilder, Oracle, E-Civis, Accela, MS Teams, and SharePoints to meet internal and external reporting requirements, and publishing reports, as required by the OCI Management Team.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Environment

On-site work from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm with flexibility to start at 8:30am. The environment is an office setting.
