Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller based in Miami, Florida. The Controller will be responsible for managing cash flow, processing payroll payments, and working with the Purchasing department amongst other responsibilities in a telecom provider setting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage cash flow and execute wire transfers to vendors for shipment releases

• Handle payroll payment processing and issuing of the letter of credit

• Collaborate with the Purchasing department in managing standby letters and working with vendors

• Generate credit reports to determine the value of credit or standby letters needed

• Collaborate with the logistics team to track merchandise arrivals for payments

• Work with purchasing and other team members on tasks such as sales tax, bank reconciliation, alarm codes, and monthly mortgage management

• Maintain Binders to record all payments for IRS and record keeping

• Manage office staff reporting into accounting and finance

• Utilize skills in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Budget Processes, Bank Reconciliations, Cash Flow Forecasts, IRS.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven track record in Auditing

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Expertise in creating Cash Flow Forecasts

• Understanding of IRS regulations and requirements

• Degreed

• CPA a must

• Spanish a must
