Description
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing information about products and services. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to handle customer issues with patience and professionalism.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person, providing accurate information about products, services, and policies.
Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, aiming for first-contact resolution.
Assist customers with placing orders, processing returns or exchanges, and providing troubleshooting support.
Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records in the customer service management system.
Follow up on customer issues or inquiries to ensure satisfaction and resolution.
Maintain knowledge of the company’s products, services, and policies to provide the best possible support to customers.
Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Process customer orders, refunds, and account updates accurately.
Identify and escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department or supervisor.
Meet or exceed established service and performance standards.
Provide feedback to improve customer service processes and product offerings.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional customer service training or certification is a plus.
Proven experience in a customer service role or similar position.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or other customer service software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A positive and friendly attitude with a customer-focused mindset.
