Responsibilities

The Aviation Pneumatic Technician will perform inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, overhauls of pneumatic systems, and modifications of components. Compliant with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, and EASA Part 147 repair knowledge. Read and interpret manufacturer airline instructions, service bulletins, drawings, engineering orders, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and repair, replacement, or modification methods.

  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of aircraft pneumatic systems to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pneumatic components including valves, actuators, compressors, and airframes.

  • Disassemble, clean, repair, and overhaul aircraft components per manufacturers' specifications and company. procedures.

  • Proficient in the operation and maintenance of pneumatic components including on/off valves, valves, check valves, bleed valves, regulator valves, torque motors, servo actuator valves, narrow body starters, flow control valves, wide body starters, PDUs, and ACMs.

  • Efficiently utilize the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) to guide maintenance procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to manufacturer specifications and standards.

  • Comprehend and Airworthiness Directives (ADs) to ensure compliance with mandatory safety requirements issued by regulatory authorities, maintaining the aircraft's airworthiness.
