Robert Half Procurement Manager in Miami, Florida

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Director in Miami, Florida. The role is centered around the procurement function in our industry, and the successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic management and execution of procurement processes and initiatives. This role will involve working closely with various internal and external stakeholders, leveraging CRM and ERP solutions, and utilizing skills in contract negotiation and budgeting to achieve optimal procurement outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic procurement processes and policies

• Leverage ERP solutions and other tools such as 3M, Coupa, and CRM to streamline procurement operations

• Manage contract negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous terms

• Oversee the buying process, ensuring it is efficient and cost-effective

• Monitor budget processes and make necessary adjustments to meet financial targets

• Maintain an understanding of the market trends and apply this knowledge to procurement tasks

• Utilize 'About Time' software for efficient time tracking and project management

• Act as a point of contact for customer service inquiries related to procurement

• Handle invoice processing and ensure accurate record-keeping

• Collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement operations

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as Procurement Manager

• Familiarity with Sage, Fintech, or Workday

• Knowledge of budget and buying processes

• Strong customer service skills

• Experience with invoice processing

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills BILINGUAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• Certification in supply chain management or procurement is a plus.
