Description

We are looking for a skilled and customer-oriented Bilingual Bank Teller to join our team. As a key representative of our branch, you will provide top-notch service to our customers and manage various banking transactions. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and have a background in banking or financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Welcome customers with a friendly attitude and assist with a range of banking needs such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.

  • Account Management: Offer information on account details, interest rates, and services. Help customers with the opening and closing of accounts.

  • Transaction Handling: Execute a wide range of banking transactions accurately, including cash handling, check processing, and currency exchange.

  • Fraud Detection: Monitor and report any suspicious activities or transactions following bank protocols and regulations.

  • Sales & Referrals: Advocate for bank products and services, directing customers to relevant departments as needed.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all transactions adhere to federal and state regulations as well as bank policies.

  • Teamwork: Collaborate with branch staff to fulfill customer needs and contribute to branch objectives.

    Requirements

Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a bank teller or in a similar role within the financial services industry.

Language Skills: Must be bilingual in English and Spanish with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with banking software and cash handling.

Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all transactions and customer interactions.

Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in banking or finance are a plus.
