Position Summary

Responsible for building and/or repairing growing trays using hand tools and other machines.

Essential Job Functions

• This position is responsible for all of the following:
• Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws
• Assembles and fastens materials to make trays, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue
• Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of trays and repair or replace, using hand tools
• Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed
• Performs other related duties as requested
• Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on the safe handling and proper use of machines and tools used for the operations
• Adherence to Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) for food processing
• Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for food processing
• Accurate completion of daily logs and reports according to the SOP

• Regular contact with all levels of personnel throughout the organization
