Description

We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team located in Miamisburg, Ohio. In this role, you will be tasked with managing and processing accounts payable, handling journal entries, and ensuring all invoices are accurate. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment.

Responsibilities

• Handle the processing of accounts payable and ensure checks are cut once a week

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all transactions

• Work closely with the purchasing department to verify all invoices are correct

• Conduct journal entries and vouchers as part of the accounting procedures

• Utilize Sage 100 and Excel, specifically V-Look ups and Pivot Tables, for various tasks

• Ensure all customer invoices are printed and mailed in a timely manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take the necessary actions when needed

• Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is essential.

• Capable of creating and maintaining Journal Entries.

• Experience with Journal Vouchers is required.

• Must have the ability to handle Coding Invoices efficiently.

• Familiarity with Bank Statements is necessary.
