Shift 4pm-12am Shift 12a-8am General Purpose:
- Primary duties of this position include but not limited to fluid product receiving, product load out, pasteurization, separation, heat treatment, and reconstitution. Other operational duties include clean-in-place ( CIP), clean-out-of-place (COP) gaskets, master Sanitation, and other tasks in this area as assigned by supervisor.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform the duties required to maintain assigned area sanitary and clean
- Receive fluid products and check storage vessels
- Operate the milk separator in a manner that produces quality product in compliance with USDA regulations
- Operate the "Breddo" high shear mixer to produce reconstituted product
- Observe product flow into and out of storage vessels and respond to any problems such as leaks or burst lines
- Follow steps to ensure proper operation and perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance of the equipment in the area
- Complete and maintain H.A.C.C.P record keeping, such as filling in charts and sanitation sheets
- Take samples of product in a sanitary fashion for lab testing
- Set up pipelines, valves, and hoses
- Follow all DFA GMP'S and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
- Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion and sound judgment
- Ensure safety and GMP policies and procedures are followed
- Obtain and maintain all certification and licenses that are required

- Must comprehend wash tags, shipping and receiving paperwork, and master sanitation schedule; must be able to communicate with trucks and fellow employees
