RBC Bearings Customer Service Associate in Middlebury, Connecticut
Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Make inbound/outbound calls when necessary to help customers.
Initiate tracers with carriers.
Maintain customer files.
Solicit sale of new or additional services.
Obtain customer feedback information.
Review customer purchase orders prior to order entry.
Enter customer orders in the ASI system.
Manage quote requests for customers in assigned territory.
Ability to multitask if needed.
Maintain cleanliness in the work area.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to read and interpret operating instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to interpret technical instructions into a diagram.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent follow up skills.
Ability to read documents for detail.
Customer service experience.
