JOB REQUIREMENTS: Hotel:Madison Marriott Breakfast Associate Part time Atrium SPIRIT - where teamwork, passion and appreciation ignite service excellence Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of the Breakfast Associate is to provide guests with an excellent restaurant experience. This is a part-time position with scheduled hours mainly Friday - Sunday, starting at 5:30 a.m. Additional hours may be available. Work Performed: TheBreakfast Associatewill be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: Ensure prompt and courteous service toguests; Set-up, refresh, and take-down breakfast buffet; Greet guests, escort them to tables, answer questions; Address guestcomplaints; Answer telephone calls and process phoneorders; Collect and process guestpayments; Totals receipts at end of shift to verify sales and clear cashregister; Ensures tips are reported properly for taxprocessing; Clear dirty table settings and preparetableforresetting; Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen andcondiments; Inspect dining room serving stations for neatness andcleanliness; Assistservicestaff as necessary to service guests in a timelymanner; Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; and Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position. Preferred Prior Experience: Six(6)months of previous customer service, restaurantand/or cashier experience Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required Licenses/ Certification: Food Safety Trainingcertifiedor become certified within first 60 days of employment. Alcohol Awareness certifiedor become certified within first 60 days of employment .
