SUMMARY OF THE JOB:

Reporting to the Team Leader the incumbent is responsible for providing loan servicing functions for the Commercial Loan Servicing, Resort Finance Division.

Essential Functions:

  • Reporting to the Team Leader, the incumbent is responsible for supporting loan officers and portfolio managers which includes:

  • Performs New Loan boarding and loan modifications to the core system after thorough review of all new loan documents

  • Prepares monthly reports specific to Resort Finance and bank wide board reports as needed in a prompt and accurate manor.

  • Prepares payment and general ledger Offset memos for T & E, Legal Bills, UCC and Flood Determinations specific to Resort Finance and bank wide board reports as needed in a prompt and accurate manor.

  • Processing payments, advances, interest calculations, participation transactions, construction payments and advances following the Bank’s policies and procedures including, but not limited to, Restricted Servicing Transaction policy.

  • Maintains accurate records of all payments, advances and file maintenance transactions following the Bank’s policies and procedures including, but not limited to, the Bank’s Record Retention policy.

  • Sets up and maintains new credit and servicing files following the Bank’s Policies and Procedures, including Set up & boarding folder, advances, payments, Insurance tracking, cash reconciliation, and trend reports for applicable portfolios.

  • Supports other groups as needed by processing loan payments, advances.

  • Performs administrative tasks including payoff letters, mortgage releases, billing, filing, general ledger and deposit account reconciliations, Debt confirmations.

  • Processes Teller work for payments, advances, interest accrual adjustments, etc.

  • Upholds an excellent, collaborative relationship and communications with Borrower’s contacts, Servicing companies, Resort Finance Broker, Insurance Broker, Participating and Lead Banks / Financial Institutions.

  • The incumbent is expected to consistently exhibit the bank’s core values which include having a passion for customer service; building collaborative relationships with trust and integrity; treating everyone with dignity and respect; and taking pride in one’s work.

    SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides backup teller support when necessary.

  • Assists with the records retention of closed loans and documents when necessary.

  • Cross training within the Commercial Loan Servicing business lines and their functions

  • Assists with any other special project assigned to be completed by established deadlines.

    Minimum REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 plus years of prior loan servicing and/or equivalent professional experience preferred

  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication.

  • Ability to quickly and accurately identify and file various types of loan documents (Loan approvals, Loan Notes, Loan Agreements, OFAC, UCC’s, Insurance, etc.).

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills; proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF).

  • Proven ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, work independently and exercise independent judgment when appropriate, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

  • Strong working knowledge of Insight or proven ability to learn complex transactional systems.
