Staffmark is seeking a talented IT Software Developer to join a dynamic and collaborative team in Middletown, NY. Pay: $60,000 - $65,000 per year, plus bonus opportunities
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
The IT Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications to meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality software that adheres to coding standards.
- Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and processes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and suggest enhancements to improve system efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Angular, Java, C#, and Python, and familiarity with frameworks like .NET.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL) and strong knowledge of MSSQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
