Compensation

$52,000-$58,000

Individuals with any and all lab experience or equivalent educational experience encouraged to apply!

Primary Duties

  • Responsible for analyzing materials, including, asphalt, aggregates, and emulsions

  • Operates, maintains, and cleans laboratory testing equipment and workspace

  • Accurately performs testing of aggregates and asphalt products according to DOT specifications and company quality control plans

  • Record and maintain quality control reports

  • Analyze data, troubleshoot, and recommend process control adjustments under the supervision of the quality control manager

  • Follow and help others to follow all company safety policies and procedures

Experience and Physical Requirements

  • Previous lab experience preferred

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record

  • Must be upbeat and willing to learn all aspects of the position

  • Able to be flexible with duties and working hours

  • Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by Company safety guidelines

  • Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds with or without assistance

  • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

  • Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain

  • Frequent exposure to loud noise

  • Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles

  • Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals

  • Required to work varying hours, including nights/weekends, Overtime as required

  • Some travel may be required at satellite locations for a month at a time on request. (20%)
