The incumbent in this role performs a full range of supervisory duties over a Clerk 3 and a staff of Clerk 2s in support of the timely and accurate processing of Lottery claims.  If you thrive in a fast-paced teamwork environment, this is the job for you! DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Clerical Supervisor 2 reviews information in files and Lottery systems to respond to correspondence and phone calls that have been escalated from the Clerks regarding the Claims process. Your work will include coordinating stop payment requests on prize checks that were mailed and not received by claimants, coordinating the reissuing of checks, and distributing claim forms that have been hand delivered to appropriate personnel in the Claims Section. You will have the opportunity to inspect damaged or mutilated instant tickets to determine if a reconstruction is needed, track reconstruction requests and issue determination letters or pays prize, based on results of reconstruction. Additional duties to include: Processing claim forms for second chance drawing winners as a manual payment. Reviewing non-winning tickets and composes non-winning letters. Assisting with any necessary audits Assisting the Administrative Officer with training activities for employees as new methods and/or systems are implemented. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Clerical Supervisor 1; or One year as a Clerical Assistant 3; or Two years of as a Clerical Assistant 2; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Criteria (not required): Call center experience. Customer service experience.
